(Virtual) Introduction to Environmental Enforcement
This is a scenario-driven course that introduces regulatory inspectors and attorneys to administrative, civil, and criminal environmental enforcement options, strategies and processes from the initiation of an inspection to the conclusion of a case.
Description
This is a scenario-driven course that introduces regulatory inspectors and attorneys to administrative, civil, and criminal environmental enforcement options, strategies and processes from the initiation of an inspection to the conclusion of a case. This course is a basic course, given once a year, and does not change from year to year.
The virtual classroom format will also include two practical exercise (PE) breakout sessions. Virtual participants must have their own (individual) laptop/computer with a working microphone and camera to be able to participate in the PE. Cameras must be turned on during the PE sessions.
Prerequisites
This training is for government staff only.

Environmental regulatory enforcement personnel and attorneys new to environmental programs and/or enforcement.
