(Virtual) Western States Project Agile EQ (Emotional Intelligence)

Description

About This Training- the more volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous our working environments become the more critical a truly agile workforce is to success.  In all facets of environmental work, we're called to make progress faster, while pivoting on short notice. We often need to stand firm in our ideas, education and enforcement while remaining open to new perspectives. Staying agile demands that we develop and use our emotional intelligence (EQ) - a level of sophistication never demanded before.  Sound daunting?  It doesn't have to be!

In this workshop, which includes break-out group engagement, we will explore new ways to adapt and support the agility needed which affects communication, gathering information, and accomplishing the work.  Participants discover an agile approach to workplace interactions as well as interactions with the regulated community, to navigate obstacles and be empowered to meet the demands of any situation.  Within the team, these principles will foster trust, alignment and collaboration around a shared mission and key initiatives.  Participants will complete an on-line assessment prior to our workshop, revealing EQ strengths, recognizing EQ potential and supporting the development of customized strategies for building agility.
