(Virtual) Asking Effective Questions & Listening
Description
At the heart of all aspects of our environmental work is the ability to gather information – the right information, accurate information and complete information. This is achieved through asking effective questions and top-notch listening skills.
There will be multiple breakout sessions which generally cover:
- Identification of specific situations in environmental work where gathering information is required and the problems or obstacles in gathering it
- An exercise in questioning techniques: an example/scenario for group discussion regarding selection and use of specific types of questions
- Listening for results – a fun exercise applying the question & listening principles
